The Pearl Harbor Experience

We spent about eight days in Fall River, Massachusetts over the summer helping to install the Pearl Harbor Experience exhibit. Here are some photos from the installation.

We set up a tent-covered editing suite where we could mix a final soundtrack and synchronize water effects from the vantage point of the audience. Here's Bob, our creative director, standing under the tent across from the LED screen:


Here we are under the tent. The LED screen across the water is hooked up to our computer.


I mix sound while Bob uses his hat to assert his Pittsburgh identity.


The LED screen is extremely bright. All the light in this picture comes from the screen.


While we mixed sound outside, our editor Nicole made last-minute picture edits in a makeshift office onboard the USS Massachusetts.



We triggered water effects using DMX which triggered relays which triggered valves. Here's the control box being hooked up.



Here are some large air cannons being lowered and floated in the water. These represent dive bomb explosions in the final show.
